As a Web Designer within our eGaming division you will be responsible for the creation of all online visual design, including typography, visual concept, logo and icon design for Atlantic Lottery’s digital platforms i.e. web, mobile and email. You will use your extensive knowledge of specialized design concepts, media, and software tools to develop comprehensive layouts and the production of the marketing/web presence content. You will also coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage the design process from planning to final execution including creation, maintenance and delivery of current and future web design & graphics. • Develop and propose creative prototypes/solutions that address overall design, site navigation and layout of content. • Create and produce JPEGs, PDFs, video, clip art, graphs, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements. • Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content. • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites. • Inspect design aspects and messaging for accuracy and adherence to corporate standards. • Provides technical graphics assistance to content authors, and/or vendors/service providers. • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure content for web presentations, exhibition and promotional web content meet required deadlines. • Participate in marketing strategic planning meetings on a project-by-project basis. • Responsible to maintain design files and appropriately archive for future use.
Skills and Experience
• You are proficient in the use of Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks or Illustrator • You have experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS and HTML5 coding • You have a Degree or Diploma in an accredited Web or Graphic Design program preferred • Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure/Balsamiq considered a plus • Experience with e-Commerce Websites and Mobile design considered a plus • You have experience developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions • You are well versed in the latest design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles. • You have strong knowledge of web design procedures and standards. • You have the ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors • You are an effective deadline manager and have project management skills. • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills required to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and/or content owners. • You have the ability to analyze and interpret user requirements • You have strong interpretive skills to analyze technical information and create illustrations. • You can manage a budget the production of digital media. • You have experience creating workflows and work schedules.

Health Information Coder – Regular Full-Time Health Information and Privacy University Hospital The Health Information Coder performs detailed clinical analysis of inpatient, same day surgery and ambulatory (National Ambulatory Care Reporting System) health records using the International Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, Tenth Revision, Canada (ICD-10-CA) and the Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI) diagnostic and intervention codes to facilitate resource planning, resource utilization, statistics, clinical research, and related audits. | Position Summary |
Position: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Job Rotation: 20 days on and 8 days off with a travel allowance provided
Overview:
Responsible for the consistent and equitable administration of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate effective employee relations. Supports the efficient operation of the project, contract compliance, compliance with corporate HR policies and procedures, compliance with governmental rules and regulations, and client, partner, and government liaison at the camp level. Ensure the fair treatment of all associates and the safety of residents, personnel, and corporate and client assets.
Duties:
- Ensures consistent and equitable administration of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to facilitate effective employee relations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
- Assist ESS crews as needed to support the project, to include boosting morale of crew.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations' issues
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements such as provincial employment standards, common law and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. In collaboration with the Director HR, ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Coaches and counsels management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, and follows investigation information gathering protocols and manages internal investigations on matters of workplace harassment, alleged unfair treatment etc.
- Interpreting and advising managers on collective agreements, managing grievances and arbitrations, as well as participating in collective bargaining and union negotiations. At times, work with Labour Relations team
- Conducts regular exit interviews
- Maintains accurate files and records on all employees' inquiries. Maintains sector HR activity summary of any files that have the potential to lead to Ministry complaints, Human Rights complaints or litigation via the courts
- Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Has knowledge of and can provide general information on group benefit programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, RRSP plans, vacation, sick leave, leaves of absence and the employee assistance program
- In collaboration with the WSIB claims management team, assists with Return-to-work (RTW) process inclusive of Non WSIB RTW protocols. Facilitates placement in accordance with medically supported accommodation requirements
- Assists in collection and follow up of confidential self-identification surveys for Federal Contractors Program on Employment Equity. Communicates and ensures sector targeted recruitment goals are being met to increase designated group representation
- In collaboration with Director of Total Rewards supports company's job evaluation, and compensation guideline protocols
- In collaboration with Director of HR, collaborates with recruiters, provides coaching to operations on recruiting support available, may arrange interviews, pre-screening of resumes, and may conduct reference checks as required

| Qualifications |
Required: (please only apply if you meet all required qualifications):
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management or equivalent or and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assets:
- Remote camp environment experience.
- Labour relations experience (interpreting and advising managers on collective agreements, participating in grievances/arbitrations, bargaining and negotiations)
